This fall, our programming is quickly expanding to include a focus on the family. Series classes are forming now for Baby & Me Yogalates (starting Oct 1), Kids Yoga (ages 4-10, staring Nov 3), and Prenatal Yoga(starting Nov 13). It’s never too early (or late!) to introduce relaxation techniques and simple stretching and strength-building exercises. The principles of yoga extend beyond the mat and are life tools to be used at home, in the classroom, at work, and even in childbirth!
We are also excited to host two upcoming YogaKids trainings, both facilitated by long-time TFC yoga instructor, Kim Vulinovic. On October 17, we will have ‘Taste of YogaKids‘, a 3-hour workshop, designed for parents, school teachers and child-focused professionals to learn simple ways to use yoga principles to enrich the lives of children.
Over the weekend of Nov 6-8, we welcome students from around the country for a more in-depth training, ‘YogaKids Foundations Training: Level 1‘. The original program that revolutionized the way yoga is taught to children, this ground-breaking workshop offers an exceptional, skill-building approach to asana, breathing techniques, teaching and relaxation.
